The SAFe Lean Portfolio Management course prepares Certified SAFe Lean Portfolio Managers to work with enterprise executives, Product and Solution Managers, Enterprise Architects, Agile PMO staff, and Agile Teams and Programs to align enterprise strategy and execution by applying Lean principles and systems thinking to strategy and investment funding, agile portfolio operations, and Lean governance.

The SAFe Lean Portfolio Management course is an interactive three-day class that gives attendees the practical tools and techniques required to successfully implement the Lean Portfolio Management functions of Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to capture the current state of their portfolio using the Portfolio Canvas tool and identify the important business initiatives required to achieve a more ideal future state. Attendees will learn how to create portfolio flow using Portfolio Kanban and prioritize initiatives for the greatest economic benefit. The LPM course also provides guidance and insights into how to establish budgets for Value Streams, use Lean Budget Guardrails, and measure the performance of their Lean Portfolios.

This course prepares attendees to take the SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) exam for certification.

Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of prior experience. However, to make the training more productive and for those attendees who intend to take the SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager (LPM) certification exam it is highly recommended to have
