Leading SAFe - Certified SAFe Agilist - SA
The Leading SAFe course prepares Certified SAFe Agilists to strategically guide the successful adoption and continued improvement of the Lean-Agile culture and mindset in an enterprise environment. The SAFe Agilist aids their enterprise by helping to define its mission and vision and communicating strategic decisions and the needs and benefits of change. SAFe Agilists work throughout the enterprise, from stakeholders to individual teams, motivating knowledge workers and helping them develop skills in a way that enhances their capabilities and increases both their engagement with and commitment to the vision and mission of the enterprise.
The Leading SAFe course is an interactive two-day class that imparts the knowledge required to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Attendees will learn about the Scaled Agile Framework and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile software development, product development flow, and DevOps. Attendees will learn and discuss the five core competencies required to become a Lean Enterprise. They will also learn and practice the skills needed to support and execute Program Increment (PI) Planning events and the coordination of multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Attendees will learn about the Lean-Agile mindset, why it is both necessary and effective in the modern digitally disrupted marketplace, and what it means to lead a Lean-Agile transformation. They will learn how to build and support Agile teams and programs, enable Lean Portfolio Management, create a Continuous Delivery Pipeline using DevOps culture and practices, and coordinate large, complex products and solutions.
